Working For Nets of Texas — FAQs
1. What types of career opportunities does Nets of Texas offer?
Nets of Texas offers opportunities for people interested in hands-on field work, installation, project coordination, operations, sales, and administrative support. As a company that designs, builds, and installs netting systems across the country, we look for team members who are reliable, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to high-quality work.
2. Do I need experience in netting installation to apply?
Not always. While experience in construction, installation, fencing, rigging, welding, project management, or a related trade can be helpful, some roles may include training for the right candidate. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety are often just as important as direct industry experience.
3. What is it like working at Nets of Texas?
Working at Nets of Texas means being part of a practical, solutions-focused team that takes pride in doing the job right. Many roles involve working on custom projects for sports facilities, commercial properties, municipalities, schools, and other organizations, so no two projects are exactly the same. Team members should be comfortable solving problems, working with others, and staying focused on quality and safety.
4. Does Nets of Texas offer travel opportunities?
Some positions may involve travel, especially roles connected to installation and project work. Because Nets of Texas serves customers across the continental U.S., field team members may have the opportunity to work on projects in different cities and states. Travel requirements can vary by position, project schedule, and business needs.
Proof From The Field
“Nets of Texas provides by far the best netting for a facility that I have seen in my 42 years of coaching. They are extremely durable and perform exactly as intended, effectively stopping balls on impact. Our entire facility, including our batting cages, is outfitted with Nets of Texas products, and we couldn’t be happier. They are a trusted partner for all sports facilities across Texas.”
Coach Armando Sedeno, Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association
“I’ve worked with Nets of Texas on several projects and they’re by far the best around and my go to group for sports netting projects. They’re my first call when planning and designing new complexes or renovations to an existing field. Their knowledge and experience have proved invaluable and has been one of the reasons our projects together are so successful. My general contractors like them too as they show up on time, install the highest quality product, and are incredibly helpful in problem solving in the field.”
“It’s very simple, Nets of Texas is the best in the business! They provide excellent quality of work, attention to detail & premium products built to last. In addition, the depth of knowledge that Bryan and his team have regarding what the best solution is for your project is invaluable. We won’t work with anyone else other than Nets of Texas!”
Michael Netzel, Director of Athletics for St. Thomas High School
